Hi. I'm Trent (friends call me "T" or "TDawg"). Welcome to my blog.

I'm a 30-something professional and am currently working as a Software QA Engineer for a large telecom company in Denver. My prior experience is diverse and includes working in IT systems administration as well as practicing law. My educational background includes a Juris Doctorate (law degree) and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance but I've also taken a number of courses in systems administration, programming, networking, and web development.

The tux in the profile photo is obviously not my normal attire - I'm typically much more laid back. This pic was taken at a birthday party for one of my friends and was the only one I had available at the time I created this blog.

Although not an exhaustive list, my interests include among other things, reading, cooking, dining, classic rock, movies, computers, politics, golf, and NFL football. I'm also becoming interested in writing so I've decided to create this blog comprised of things that I find relevant and interesting enough to share with my friends.

What else should I tell about myself? I've always thought that the music, books, and movies that a person enjoys says a lot about them. So, my favorite movie (comedy) is Old School. Seinfeld is the best TV comedy ever written. My favorite music genres are southern and classic rock. Its too hard for me to pick a favorite band / song although AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" is high on my list. My favorite authors are Dan Brown, and Michael Crichton. Politically, I'm an independent, but I lean toward the left. Bill Clinton was one of my favorite Presidents although I voted for Bush in 2000 (the "who would you rather have a beer with mistake?"). My favorite cuisines are Chinese, and Cajun although I love anything that's spicy. Combine the above with good friends, some Blue Moon or a good Cabernet and you've got the makings of a perfect evening.
